Richard was a great guy. His son Mike Vanasse and I were college roommates at Landmark College in Putney, Vermont (and have since become good friends), which is where I originally met him, Mike and the rest of the Vanasse family.

I always loved his sense of humor and outgoing personality and am very shocked and sad to hear he has passed away. My sincerest thoughts go out to the Vanasse family. You have an angel watching over you now.
